San Diego never saw us coming. Mostly because they aren’t technically a person, but more of a geographical location. Can you image the size of the contact lens solution?
On Saturday November 15 2008 Picard Maneuver kicked off their World Tour when they took San Diego California by storm. A rip roaring comical, well dressed, but very polite storm.
Picard Maneuver would like to thank our family, friends, fans, unsuspecting bar flies, and bewildered San Diego State freshmen who evidentially thought they were getting into the car to take a trip to Costco, who came out to the show. For those of you who weren’t able to make it out to the show, we plan on returning to classy San Diego in the New Year, as long as City Council doesn’t vote against it again.
It was the best show we’ve ever played in a region where the first European to visit was Portuguese-born explorer Juan Rodrigues Cabrillo sailing under the Spanish Flag. Carson City Nevada was a close second.
We hope you had as much fun as we did. It was a great show all the way from the bouncer who wouldn’t allow Mike’s sister and friends into the show, the heavily distorted guitar amp, the club owner who was busy picking out a new shampoo fragrances, and the time when Adam smashed his head into the stage doorway. It was a lot of fun… From what we’re able to remember.
And since this is the official kick off too the Picard Maneuver World Tour, you might be wondering were will be our next stop be?
The bathroom. It’s going to be a long car ride.
