Wikipedia Feature Poem: #1 Japan

We tend to play a lot of poetry events, they're great to us, because they laugh. That's important. So it got us inspired to write our own poetry. Enjoy!

Wikipedia Feature Poem: #1 Japan

By: Mike Hover (aka "hey you get your damn hands off her")

Pikachu from Mutant Turtles, a vibrant stream of culture and history intertwine. Honor, discipline, preventive Godzilla tactics, describe the might that is, was, shall ever be Japan. Like a six year boy not loved by his parents, it’s easy to fall in with the wrong crowd. Each have their own follies, their own Crystal Cokes. A bad apple among an axis of hoodlums joining what’s popular. But even a fanny pack of domination can only get you so far in life. Look in the sky, a bird, a plane, a flash of hope. A new beginning from the ash of hydrogen. Like an after school special for run down Cosby kids, Japan recovers to attend junior college. A proud culture of Mr. Miyagis, Dr. No’s, and moon sailors all most lost in translation. We grow from harsh times to empower the underdog. A great Samurai once said, “What’s happening hot stuff”.
